The Secret of Committing to The Truth

“We can’t assert what the truth is, we can only discover it.  We can only discover it in ourselves and in the moment.”

So…

If you know about my story, you know that…

“I died a violent death back in October of 1989, and I lived to tell about it.”

Dying, and coming back to life – those do weird things to a man.

Sometime, after I decided to stop whining and get a life, I made a commitment to “the truth” – what ever that is.

I’ve explored many religions, met some very interesting people, made lots of money, lost it all….

I’ve been marred, divorced, remarried.  I’ve sworn like a sailor, and prayed from sun up to sun down, eating nothing but vegetables that I harvested like my mentors taught me to for 40 days and 40 nights.

But what it comes down to, is a commitment to “the truth”.

“We can’t assert what the truth is, we can only discover it.  We can only discover it in ourselves and in the moment.”
