36 Life Lessons I learned by changing my name to Mr. Twenty Twenty

Life lessons I learned from changing my name to Twenty Twenty

1.Vision matters. If you don’t see something great as possible today, getting out of bed is pretty tough.

2.The people at the drivers license center do have a sense of humor.

3.Some notaries don’t.

4.Life as a number can be fun and challenging.

5.Policemen wonder if you are a “rapper” when your name is a number.

6.Mr. Twenty Twenty does show up well in the search engines.

7.It pays well to be interesting.

8.Being Mr. Twenty Twenty sure beats being just another “John” in the crowd.

9.Some people just don’t want to “get it”. Love them and move on.

10.Some people love “getting it”, and “sharing it”. Bring them home for supper.

11.Helping people discover and remember how they are special, makes you even more special.

12.What makes you special is how you see the world. How you see the world is a sneak peek of your vision.

13.Let the world see your vision, not by what you say, but through all you do.

14.Having a vision is powerful. What you hold in mind, does tend to manifest. Hold good things in your mind. See good things in your vision.

15.Kids who don’t have vision, tend to gravitate towards other kids who don’t have vision. Make sure your kids are inspired by your vision, so that they develop and discover their own.

16.Don’t try to have a different vision, just have a unique one.

17.Share your vision with one other human once a day by talking about it. Share your vision with everyone you meet that day by living it.

18.If you really want to commit to an ideal, change your name to something related to it. Twenty Twenty is the term for perfect vision. If you could change your name, what IDEAL would it be based upon? Email me at 2020@exhostage.com

19.Nothing can stop a man with a vision, except himself.

20.Life isn’t about defining yourself, life is about seeing who you can become while inspiring others to discover how cool they are.

21.If you found your soul mate, or a mate with soul, hug and kiss them often.

22.Inspire your soul mate to express their vision everyday, do this by expressing yours and discovering more about their’s as often as you possibly can.

23.Make a vision board. Make sure it’s interesting enough that you don’t get bored with it.

24.Invite your vision board to grow daily with you.

25.Be authentic. Be real. Be interesting. That’s what Vision is all about.

26.What’s in a name? Everything. Only you can find out how true this really is for yourself.

27.Print out and frame the emails you get, that thank you for how you inspired someone to change their life.

28.Save psycho emails for law enforcement use only.

29.Make a list of 11 things you are thankful for each day. Put it where you can see it, for later when you forget.

30.Don’t even try to fit in if you choose to be a Visionary. You aren’t a round peg, and most holes are way to square to make it worth your time.

31.You know you are doing fine, when you tell you wife you want to change your name…. to a number… and she says “Okay”.

32.Remember, most people are still just focused on paying the bills, putting food on the table, and getting home safe after a few beers. Love them where they are, and invite them to play bigger.

33.You only get one shot, so take it. Holding on to the ball doesn’t help your team win.

34.Humanity is the team you are on. Play full out so we all win. Let your light shine, let your vision be felt, heard, and seen by everyone you meet, through all you do.

35.When in doubt, play full out.

36.It’s okay to be different, it’s best to be you.

  2. Have my own unique vision. I love that simple quote. I am writing my first book and sometimes it’s hard to be unique wanting to please others but I know I must be unique if I am going to give something new to the world.

  3. My nickname on my convention name tag sure gets a lot more attention than my given name & it’s far more memorable — COURAGE

  4. the power of a name, the flexiblity and power that is created with that label. i have always liked my name, daniel, dan, or danny, bandana dan, D$ (dee money), d-zan, dan-gerous, dirty d, danimal, Da prime minista of holism, hehe

i feel different with every name.

    thanks for the inspiration

i am almost off the ship, will be in contact soon

the tao that can be named is not the true tao, i guess that reflects us as well, our names dont really reflect who we are, well they limit us, they should change with time

  5. Great comments! (Ok, some are similar to mine.) Recently pulled out your CD’s and started listening again. I think I can feel you getting older yet wiser. Thumbs up! Have a great day. grego

  6. YES!!!! This list, this post, has inspired me wildly – thank you Mr. 2020! I have some ideas, and they have prompted a question. Is having a dream the same as having a vision? Is my dream my vision?

Blessings to you. You inspire me.

    Todd
