Your Sacred Fire – Scout Camp 2008 by Mr. Twenty Twenty
Be in love with your life, be at peace with your self, walk in power – in all that you do.
Hey mate,
Experiencing Fire by Friction can transform you deeply.
If this method of fire making, is shared with respect to the old traditions, you will feel the spark come to life. You will feel the spark come to life BOTH on the outside (in the fireboard) and within you.
The Ancient Scouts had a deep awareness of their divine inner spark, and knew how to fan it into a flame, so they could merge and appreciate the divine flow within all things. They didn’t live lives of quiet despiration, like so many today. They lived. They lived lives of inspiring power and awareness. They lived deeply, authentically, and completely.
Why did I choose to embrace the Scout Way of Life?
Originally, I was attracted back to the ancient wisdom traditions after I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, after being taken hostage in a 3 day prison riot. I was one of the “good guys”, getting beaten by a bunch of the bad guys.
I had lost my mind, experiencing flashbacks, night sweats, and I was contemplating suicide . I chose to learn the old ways, practiced by my Grandmother’s elders, so I could come back to my senses.
Nature has a way of helping you to heal and grow in harmony and power. Especially if you experience nature with the love and power of The Scout.
Fire by friction is one of the Key Skills of The Scout, that helps you “catch” the spirit of the old ways. It’s primitive, so it satisfies our need for survival, and it’s deep, so it opens the door to a spiritual kind of shift.
Below there is a video of me experiencing the sacred, Fire by Friction. I’ll warn you, you won’t catch the wave completely by watching, though you may experience “something” tugging at you, inspiring you, opening you to the thoughts of new possibility.
Fire by Friction, is a skill and an experience that’s best shared in small groups. Taught so you can use it to survive. Shared with the ancient stories and principles that were handed down by the elders, so you actually experience, feel, and understand the spark within you in a whole new, deeper way.
I’ve shared this skill with almost 500 men, women and children, over the past 15 years. Almost every time, grown men weep when they first experience fire. They feel something shift. Something that our society has lost, something that is deep inside of us, calling out to be found.
If these words, and this video touch you, call to you, and you want to find out more about our annual Scout Camp in Pennsylvania, where every October we share old wisdom traditions, so you can experience new and amazing shifts email me at 2020@exhostage.com It’s a wonderful event, that is limited to 7 people this year.

Wow! What a powerful video and message. Well done, 2020 and Carol!
This was really great video.
Potent message and nice touch of humor at the end.
It made me think of the movie “Quest for Fire,” which I always loved.
I thought they did a great job of capturing the essence of the Mystery
in the scene where the Questing man finds a tribe who can create Fire
by friction.
Here’s a link to the scene.

You can also watch the whole movie on that site.
Thanks for bringing it home, 20/20.
Wish I could be there this year.
Maybe next…
