Keeping it real! by Mr. Twenty Twenty
Hey mate,
It’s Sunday afternoon here in Pennsylvania. Carol and I got in about 90 minutes ago from enjoying our daily breakfast cookout in our local park, where we share inspirations and action plans about our lives and business as a work at home couple.
How cool is that?
Really, take a moment and consider, how cool is that.
In a world that’s gone crazy in rushing around, and the superficial pursuit of numbers, we’ve found an almost magical way to live and play deep with each other. A way that does pay our bills, and give us a lifestyle that many people respect and would enjoy having.
Onward!
You might know me from Twitter. Twitter is a neat service that allows you to share your life, your stuff, and your business with people who “follow you”. Many people I see on Twitter are shooting for high numbers of followers…
I’ve taken a slightly different approach… I occasionally “lose people”.
Nothing personal, but if I haven’t seen you in a while, or if your posts are all commercial, or if you get too wrapped up in attacking people, I’ll drop you for a while. Then check back in later.
Because to me, depth is important. It’s how I built my business, it’s how I build my life.
I love reading posts and Twitters that are revealing. I choose to walk away from beautiful people when they walk away from their own beauty and become attackers, focused on attacking people or focused on just attacking my wallet. Don’t worry, I still love you, and I’ll probably find you again when the time is right.
On a similar note…
Below is an article on bringing YOU and your DEPTH into your online business. I think it’s a very important read. It probably won’t make you a millionaire in the next 90 days on the net, but neither will what most of the mega rich internet guru’s tell you to do, if you don’t have the juice to do it.
I’ve noticed with my coaching clients, most people don’t have the juice to give themselves another job. At least not until they discover they can enjoy some online successes along the way, doing something that matters to them.
Grandma taught me that success breeds success. So did a half crazy looking indian. Get successful at the easy level first, then build on that. I think it’s much easier for people to get a few micro successes under their belts online, then focus on the crap they aren’t passionate about, than to try to make a zillion dollars on Clickbunk.
Back to my day…
So I’m going outside to smoke a cigar, and read a few old books with my friend Randy. Randy is my cat friend you can see on page 8 of the Give Away version of my newest book, Jumping Mouse.
Let’s chat about giving for just a second. This post is my gift. It’s my gift to you, sharing a little bit more about me. An odd and interesting fella who changed his name to a number to make a difference. A fella who loves connecting with people deeply, and who isn’t all into “the numbers game”. A fella who knows, that if I share me, if I give what I can away, people will pay me for what I charge for.
Inviting people into this way of life is interesting. It sure beats having to FORCE and influence all the time, but that’s another story, from another time.
I request that you take the time today to invite someone to a deeper more alive way of living. It could be someone special, it could be someone you know or a stranger, it could even be you.
Have a great day!
