The Big Mac Buy Back Program – US Govt Saving Lives

It all started when I posted on facebook, that the USA should do a Big Mac Buy Back program, instead of another gun buyback program.    Because supersized happy meals and big macs are killing more people in civilized societies than evil looking guns.

It probably won’t work, but it will make some people feel good, because you can’t make stupidity illegal.

People will wait in line to eat fast food – that makes them fat and stupid.  Stuff that makes them feel bad, which has been proven to be detrimental to personal health, and happiness.

How many times do people make other people feel bad – how many times do people make stupid decisions – after eating stupid food.  Think about it, when you feel bad – you make bad decisions – and eating crap food – does make you feel bad – and makes you fat.

So will the USA fund my Big MackBuy Back program?   Will they start putting photo’s of obese but cracks on big macs – like the health related photos many countries mandate be placed on cigarette packages?    Will people start choosing health and happiness?

Trading in that old big mac wrapper or half eaten bun for a voucher for some yummy broccoli….

Anyhoo…

Remember, you read it here first.   Share if you care.   And remember, for some reason – we still can not legislate intelligence – or force people to make good decisions.   And maybe that’s a good thing – for some of us.

Mr Twenty Twenty

PS:  Here’s the deal.  How can we expect people to be responsible with the big things – when they have proven they can’t think.  Who would choose big macs and expect to feel good and make good decisions?   We live in a time where people seem to think it’s government’s job to provide jobs – where it’s government’s job to make us healthy – and it’s the government’s job to protect us from each other and ourselves.  Something needs to be done – by you – by me.  We need to choose to wake up – and be the change – to be the power – to be what we want in the world.  And that begins with good decisions – and teaching our kids to make good decisions.   From what we eat – to how we deal with what is eating us.   What do you think?  Leave a comment below.

  1. What a great idea! Fortunately I don’t have any big macs for anybody to buy back.. and I’m not parting with my organic veggies and wild caught salmon! :-)

thoughts are things manifested, food are things eaten, people are things taken for granted, so think eat and enjoy!

    Mr.Twenty twenty,
I love this. I continuously teach myself and my children about how powerful it is to be able to take responsibility for their own decisions and actions. Bad or good, YOU are the one who must be able to stand up and either take the lumps or the rewards, but above all, think for yourself. It is what it is. Inanimate objects have no power except the power we give to them. Example, money is not good or evil, what You decide to use the money for(giving it power) is where you may have a moral dilemma. Yes, we all make mistakes but, the real lesson is what we do with the information.
By the way I enjoy you insights very much. Best wishes and have an awesome New Year!

    • Thank you Jen!

You give me hope. Too many people are teaching their kids how to be victims at worst – parrots at best. Parrots that repeat simple phrases – thoughts – but not the thinking behind them.

The whole wide world is full of tools, like money – beef – and even guns – that can be used responsibly – by those who have awakened the power to think.

      Many blessings,

      TT
